width. Works best as a screening plant. Compact arching
habit.
Foliage Color and Flowers: Light green evergreen foliage and white fringe like flowers multiple times a year.
Hardiness Zones: 7-10 Semi-evergreen in colder regions.
Light Requirement: Full-Sun to Part-Shade
Drought Tolerance: Moderate to High
Notes: This evergreen shrub works great as a large hedge. It can also be used as a foundation plant, but will require a lot of pruning. This is the original Loropetalum chinense. With newer green and purple cultivars available the species form of Loropetalum is seldom scene in the trade anymore.
