Size: 3' in height and width. 'Blue Chip' keeps an almost perfect broad flat shape without pruning.
Hardiness Zones: 5-9
Light Requirement: Full sun to part-shade.
Drought Tolerance: Moderate. Some additional water in the summer will increase flower production.
Notes: Developed at NC State University by Dr. Dennis Werner. It reputedly produces little or no seeds which will prevent it from becoming invasive. This variety has become very widely available.
